Eric Gormly

Eric Gormly is the UMKC Student Veteran Support Services Director, and has been with the University since 2020. In this role he creates on-campus programming for student veterans, as well as oversees GI Bill processing. Prior to that he has worked in various Veteran Services roles at other educational institutions since 2010. Eric served in the Marines from 2004 – 2010 and deployed twice to Iraq and a humanitarian mission to New Orleans in support of Hurricane Katrina efforts. After exiting the military, he attended Johnson County Community College, and then transferred and graduated from The University of Kansas in 2015. He is now pursuing his Master’s of Higher Education from UMKC, and expected to graduate in Spring 2024.
