Carlos ParraCervantes

Carlos ParraCervantes is a recent graduate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) with a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis on Creative Writing. Carlos brings invaluable experience gained from the United States Marine Corps where they served for four years as a Legal Services Specialist. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by both military personnel and civilians, he is dedicated to facilitating meaningful conversations and creating inclusive environments in and outside the classroom.

Beyond their academic and military achievements, Carlos is an avid reader, writer, and mountain biking enthusiast. Looking toward the future, Carlos aspires to continue writing and one day publish a collection of short stories. He is driven by a desire to make a lasting impact by leveraging their skills and experiences to promote collaboration, understanding, and empathy between military and civilian communities.
