Xingyu is working on identifying novel alpha-hairpinin peptide sequences and adapting SLAY to function in yeast.

Richard manages the lab while also working on uncovering the sequence-structure-activity relationships of the antimicrobial peptide Melittin. He is also often assigned various other 'out there' ideas that pop into Dr. Randall head.

Jordan worked on examining the sequence importance and evolution of the insect antimicrobial peptide thanatin. He has since graduated with his master's degree and is working across the street in the Gibson Lab at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research as a full time Research Assistant.
