Dr. Yu will be giving a talk about our lab research at the UMKC School of Dentistry, 12-1 PM, Aug 27th, 2025. Rm 217A, SOD Building. He will also give a talk at the UMKC School of Pharmacy on Oct 16th, 2025.

Our first NIH grant has arrived. Dr. Yu was awarded a three-year R15 grant from NIH-NIAMS. We will work with graduate and undergraduate students on this exciting project to develop and evaluate mineralized collagen-based multizonal scaffolds for osteochondral regeneration.

Advanced Light Materials is a new journal launched by KeAi and published with Elsevier. The first issue will be published in 2026. ALM is dedicated to the science, technology, and applications of lightweight and multifunctional materials. Dr. Yu is invited to join the Editorial Board Member.
