Using recent advances in deep learning and knowledge management, we are developing a tool to expeditiously retrieve relevant content from seventeenth-century notary records housed at the National Archives in Argentina.
Achievements: Recognition of seventeenth-century Spanish handwritten characters using deep learning techniques; detection and recognition of handwritten words and content extraction from handwritten notary records using deep learning techniques; a knowledge graph based tool for managing content on handwritten records written in Spanish.
