If someone deleted or moved widgets and the front page feels “broken,” those widgets can often be restored. In OpenScholar, go to Create (on the relevant page) and look for Deleted widgets (often under More). From there, you can select widgets to restore and place them where you want. The general trick is to build “inside-out” at the widget level—get the pieces right first, then decide where they live in the site.
