Congratulations to Dr. Md Ashikuzzaman and collaborators on the acceptance of two papers to be presented at the IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium (IUS) 2025, to be held in Utrecht, Netherlands.
The first paper, “Autonomous Selection of Energy-Based Ultrasound Speckle Tracking Parameters Using Deep Learning,” introduces a neural network–driven framework to automatically optimize parameter selection in regularized speckle-tracking algorithms, reducing user dependency and enhancing strain imaging reliability.
The second paper, “ShearMoFit: A Dual-Plane Ultrasound Shear Wave Motion Cleaning Technique,” presents a novel dual-plane framework to improve robustness and signal quality in shear wave elastography through adaptive motion filtering and trajectory modeling.
Both works were conducted as part of Dr. Ashikuzzaman’s postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University, contributing to the advancement of intelligent and physics-informed ultrasound imaging technologies.
