I am Associate Professor of Economics and affiliate faculty in the Department of Race, Ethnic and Gender Studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), USA. I am also a research associate at the Asian Political Economy program at PERI, University of Massachusetts Amherst.
