Dr. Sutkin will participate on a panel at HFES: From Human Factors to Human Strengths: Rethinking Physician Education from Undergraduate to Residency Training. Accepted for Discussion Panel at the 2026 HFES International Symposium on Human Factors and Ergonomics in Health Care, March 22–25, 2026, in New York City.

Dr. Sutkin will be the keynote speaker at the HFES Robotic Summit.

  • Vagmi Kantheti presented Student Sound Survey data at the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress, October 2025. She received 3 good questions from the audience and handled them very well!

  • Sarah George presented her poster "Student Success: Operating Room Noise Impacts Medical Student Learning & Participation" at the Missouri ACP Conference at the Margaritaville Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks in September. Her presentation was awarded 3rd place in the student poster competition amongst all Missouri medical schools, along with a $75 award. Attendees were supportive and commented that optimizing medical student learning has not been researched enough. Way to go Sarah!
